MISSION STATEMENT To provide low income and underemployed individuals an opportunity to purchase non-food items for a reduced price so they can use their cash resources to pay their rent and utilities, therefore aiding their ability to maintain independent living.

Who is eligible?
Anyone who receives cash assistance, medical assistance or food stamps
Anyone who receives SSI or SSD
Anyone who receives WIC benefits
Anyone who is only employed part time
Anyone who works for minimum wage
Anyone who receives subsidized housing or a Section 8 Voucher
Anyone who has been in a shelter within the past 12 months
Fill out the application below and submit, then visit the store during store hours with your documentation of your eligibility. You can also download the application and bring it with you to your first visit, or applications will be taken over the phone by calling 724-464-5220.
Please bring documentation of your eligibility to your first visit to the store.
Eligibility determination will be done annually.
Each household will be given a card verifying their eligibility and family size.
When the store is open, customers will present their card to the store clerk. They can then choose items from the store cart.
Each household is limited to 2 visits to the store per month.
Family Promise has the right to limit the amount of product a customer buys.
Only cash will be accepted for purchases.
Products cannot be returned and there are no refunds.
