Utilizing a partnership with community-based and faith-based organizations, our mission is to educate low income families or families experiencing homelessness through shelter, prevention, and stabilization programs so they can achieve sustainable independence.

OUR IMPACT

Since 2011, Family Promise of Indiana County stands in the gap when no other resources are available. Families utilize a Life-Skills training program to help them become independent members of our community. ​

• In 10 years, 56 families (77 adults and 103 children) were sheltered, fed and received case management.
• 87% of families maintain permanent housing, 2 families bought a home. 
• 10,492 nights of shelter were provided. .
• 54,500 miles were driven to transport families.
• 27 Network and Support Congregations helped our families.
