Since 2011, Indiana County's faith community, generous donors and dedicated volunteers have partnered to provide shelter, food and support for homeless families. Families utilize a Life-Skills training program to help them become independent members of our community.

Family Promise of Indiana County depends on the Indiana community to thrive.

OUR IMPACT

Our community has homeless families in crisis. Family Promise of Indiana County , a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, stands in the gap when no other resources are available.
  • In 10 years, 56 families (77 adults and 103 children) were sheltered, fed and received case management.
  • 87% of our families maintain permanent housing, 2 families bought a home. 
  • 10,492 nights of shelter were provided. .
  • 54,500 miles were driven to transport families.
  • 27 Network and Support Congregations helped our families.
